He will get the chance to be immediately in the Portugal manager's thoughts on a week to week basis with the World Cup coming up as he has an outside chance of making the squad. It certainly does absolutely nothing to benefit our title bid as our remaining midfielders who play in the sitting roles do not have the same creativity and are more 'industrial' defensive types. He kept referring to us as 'Rangers' as opposed to 'we'. Not surprised he's gone. shame to lose a creative player though.
