The essence of celtic

Recommended Posts

A week of absurd press stories, witch hunts against our goalkeeper, secret meetings with the SFA, leaks to put pressure on the referee, embarrassing themselves during the minute of silence. But could anything sum up the standards of celtic football club than that arse Kamara abandoning any sense of fair play by kicking the ball out for a throw in after play was stopped for treatment to N'guemo. He didn't take long to learn their ways.

Agreed.

The aftermath of the match however won't be talk of a deserved Rangers' victory but about the sending off (unfair) of Brown, the lack of a red card for Boogie (forget about N'Guemo's multiple fouls) etc etc.

Their history, often rewritten, tells us that they have never been beaten fairly since 1888

Can anybody give a rational explanation for Brown's sending off, looked like nothing to me and am sure he wouldn't have made a difference if he had stayed on, but they will milk this.

He threw his head into the chest of Lafferty which the Ref saw as a Zidane sort of thing. it was harsh but Brown put himself in the position to give the Ref a choice. Brown only has himself to thank.

He headbutted Lafferty in the chest. Blatant red card, just like Mulgrew's was last season, but because Lafferty milked it it somehow becomes the wrong decision

Ok, Lafferty grabbed him around the neck headlocking him. Is that not blatant too?

It's was a harsh decision - both of them were a pair of lemons and a couple of yellows would have been fair.
