The only problem from a Gers perspective is we would then likely have other players expecting, and demanding, parity. It isnt just his wages we would have to consider but the knock-on effect with others in the squad. Good signing for them though I assume ? Seems to have been a bit of interest in him. Replacement for NGuemo who was gash, so definitely an improvement. There is much business still to be done though and if they dont get a goalscorer then they lose Keane's goals - without Keane's goals last season they would have been 20 points behind us. That said, we also lost the prolific Boyd and we wouldnt have gained as many points as we did without some of his goals too.
