Rangers v Blackburn live

Recommended Posts

Decent game for a friendly. Was a great day and the bears were out in force. The atmosphere was terrific and i've lost my voice. Not done that for a while. I took 3 mates up there with me, one from Whales, one from Uruguay and the other an Aussy. We also kidnapped a german chick from my hostel room and she came along and loved it:giruy:

We played well, went for it from the start and first half we killed them. If we'd scored the Pen then that was it game over but they got back into it and was a tense finish. Thought Fleck looked good when he came on and i like the idea of trying bougie as a full back. Lafferty had a decent game but was out left again, i thought he was going to be given a run through the middle?? Naysmith did well also and hopfully he can shine this season.

As i said, atmosphere was great, we stayed and sang for about 20mins after the game, the stewards had to plead with us to go and then like an army, we all walked outside the stadium singing.

What a weekend. WATP:robbo:

Dan, when is the next 2 games? are you going along?

The game was as good a friendly as Ive seen but I seem to remember we did the same in pre seasons before. We played attack minded stuff and with a bit of freedom yet when the season starts we go defensive. If we approach the SPL like we did yesterday we will hump teams left right and centre.

We just need those 3 additional players to have the replacements when needed.

Ive stated on here Im not a fan of Naismith but if he starts the season like he did yesterday then I'll be pleased. He didnt so much hug the touchline it was more of a inside right position. Lafferty was getting central aswell and his body language alone looked more mature.

Its only 1 friendly match but the opposition was a mid table Premier League team...so much for us being on par with Championship sides these days.
