Can we roll them into one. Personally i think both have been good at times and both have been rotten at times.

Boyd scores easier and Miller moves better.

Even although I was anti-Boyd a in the past even I can't argue against his goal tally. Boyd has gone. He left of his own free will so it is time to move on. I would prefer Miller to lead the line now as it would look stupid our striker wearing a Middlesbrough strip.

I may not have thought it when Boyd was in the process of leaving, but Miller for me. Boyd's goals contributed largely to our domestic success and didn't seem to miss a lot of games with injury as compared to Miller. However, Miller contributes more in terms of work-rate and seems to be stepping up to the plate in terms of goal scoring, coupled with the signings of Jelavic and Beattie, with whom I reckon he can form effective partnerships given time.

Tough one. Really tough.

 

I still think we'll miss Boyds goals. Miller won't score as many goals as Boyd but is a better footballer. Goals win games though.
