There is serious interest in Miller and I think we could achieve a decent sum for him because of it. Apparently the lad doesn't want to move but, as usual, we can't match the wages being offered from elsewhere (particularly the Middle East) so he is considering his future.

 

I don't want to sell him as his contribution has been invaluable over the piece but if we did have a suitable and certain replacement in mind then as is the case with Bougherra and McGregor, perhaps the bigger picture has to be appreciated. Like you say, very risky though as one of the main reasons we're doing so well is because of our squad continuity.

For a man who had to work to gain any kind of popularity he would be pissing off a lot of fans.

 

Also considering he has been mostly god awful throughout his career is it really worth risking the kind of form and ability he has displayed when playing under Walter Smith for Scotland and Rangers that he has never reproduced elsewhere for any kind of consistent time. There are no guarantees a move would work out well for him aside from the financial aspect.

AC Milan have targeted Glasgow Rangers striker Kenny Miller .

 

According to Italian sources, the Serie A table toppers are eying the Scot as a replacement for the injured Filippo Inzaghi .

 

The German 4-4-2 Web site says the Milan outfit are willing to pay ââ??¬2 million for the 30-year-oldââ?¬â?¢s services.

 

Miller has been in magnificent form for Rangers this season, with 18 goals and an assist in 19 games.

He has a ratio of a goal or assist every 61.05 minutes, making him the fourth most efficient attacking player in the world this term.

When they make up pish they could at least make it semi-believable. With Pato, Inzaghi, Robinho, Ronaldinho and Ibrahimovic firing Ac Milan to the top of Serie A Kenny would look like an idiot even in the Rossoneri reserves

He's had bad periods here too under Walter. He's always showed flashes of brilliance combined with moments of horror but you are probably right in saying that he seems to be mantaining some sort of high quality. I feel though that his little period is over, he's still scoring though.
