If Whittaker wins it then we have sank to a new low. to be honest, none of them are a stand out - or anywhere near it. Whoever on that list wins it is not going to be a bit embarassed. Papac has been 'consistent', but the others have offered very little in the whole scheme of things. McGregor has done more than the others. Another joke is that Whittaker is on the list. None of the players on the shortlist deserve to win it with the exception of Naismith but only due to his early season form. He's een average since! It seems they are completely out of tune with reality on most things - and this is just another example. The whole club needs to be gutted and refreshed to get us back on track where the fans and club are united and we can move on as one. Tannochsidebear 2,314 Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 Truth is, it has not been a vintage season performance wise from our team, and with no stand-out for POTY, the usual suspects come to the top of the list by default more than anything else. My own top 6 would be McGregor, Bougherra, Naismith, eh and thats it. Other players have had a wee spell of form here and there, but many of our players have not reached their form of the last two seasons. Especially disappointing have been some of the big earners like Davis, Edu and Lafferty. I am loathed to admit that had he stayed, Miller, for his goals alone, would be a shoe in for this. Thankfully, this doesnt really make any difference to anything other than another overpriced fundraiser for the club at �£144 per ticket, it will only be the corporate guys that will attend.
