Their respective lawyers were inseparable, however. They were still talking across the table as darkness fell, working out the minutiae of the transfer of ownership with a view to announcing it to the Stock Exchange sometime today, "technical issue" permitting. Whyte was also present. As was Donald Muir , who was there representing Lloyds Banking Group.

 

And there's still some who claim Muir isn't the bank's representative on our board.

No matter what anyone thinks about Muir, it was Tom English who wrote that and his article includes at least one glaring error, 93% second hand news and a few assumptions.

:D Fair point. I was actually thinking about making the same point about someone else's comment on the same article.

There's a good chance it will be done today but then again it could be done in the next 24 hours or maybe even 48 hours......
