McCoist set for talks over Israel striker Hemed as Rangers make their move

Not sure why you're saying 'feck him'!

Just saying feck him,no particular reason. You would think Ally would know a striker,is he worth haggling over??,maybe we should just move on if he wants more cash than what is on offer from Rangers.

Conway in talks aswell, stv sport carrying story

Craig Conway in Rangers signing talks

Craig Conway is in talks with Rangers and could be set for a freedom of contract move to Ibrox.

STV understands that Conway and his representative held discussions at Murray Park on Wednesday morning about a move. The Scotland winger is out of contract after five years at Dundee United and the Scottish Premier League champions will not have to pay a transfer fee to add him to their squad.

Conway picked up a Scottish Cup winners medal with United in 2010 and scored 15 goals in 150 appearances for the club.

Rangers manager Ally McCoist is keen on the former Ayr United wide man and hopes to make him one of a trio of signings this week.

McCoist has already had talks with Israeli striker Tomer Hemed's agent and the Maccabi Haifa hitman is expected to fly to Glasgow for a medical this week. Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns is also on the list of targets and has made it clear he will seriously consider a move north.

STV has learned that McCoist is keen to see business concluded before he leaves for a family holiday next week.

If he is any good, he should be looking long term at Rangers being a place to showcase himself to the EPL, instead of grasping at a short term gain with an average Spanish Club with little opportunity of playing in Europe.

Just an opinion.

You're spot on mate, but money does talk,if he is ambitous then coming to Rangers would be a better option for him

The lads a bit of an unknown quantity just now and if he goes to a lower la liga club that is what he will remain as, it would be great if we had someone who had some connection with him to let him know exactly what Rangers are about but that seems to be a no no.

If its money and his agent that has the final say in things I would expect him to go to Spain, if he has any sense about him at all then he will be with us.

I'm quiet amazed at what I'm reading here, all based on some paper article. I've just finished reading the STV sites report and they say the deal is well advanced and he'll be coming for a medical this week. Nothing about other clubs????

Are you not contradicting yourself here?.

At the end of the day nothing is certain until he signs for us or another team,it's only a discussion.
