Ally's press conference today

Recommended Posts

We've had disasters here and that puts everything in perspective.

We're going to march right through it. Our players, supporters worldwide will get through this. Everyone rallying for each other.

Not a ticket in the house tomorrow for the Kilmarnock game. That's what Rangers are all about.

The fans have done their part, the stadium is sold out. It's down to me, my staff and the players to do our part tomorrow.

The players have been fantastic. They know the serious of the situation and everyone has been rallying round.

The players have all been asking questions as 'we'. The staff, the workforce, and that's very encouraging.

We'll come out of this, maybe battered and bruised, but ready to march on.

People losing their livelihoods is more important than losing ten points in my opinion.

We've conceded ten points, nothing else.

This situation has brought a dimension to my job that I'd never have imagined in 100 years. Tomorrow we'll see why it's worth it.

Everyone has been incredibly supportive, including teams in the SPL such as Dunfermline & Motherwell. I have to mention them

Tomorrow, I firmly believe we will show everyone what Rangers are all about and we will march through this.

We are a football club, we play football. Three o'clock tomorrow. Lets go.

This institution has been around for 140 years and I want it to be here for another 140 years.

As much as I have criticized him this year , that was one fantastic press conference , maybe just maybe we have a true Rangers legend in the making here , not just on the field but off it as well , hats off sir , tremendous

That was Churchillian stuff from Super.

Real rousing chest-thumping proud and true blue positivity.

I really hope that tomorrow is for the team and the management, and not diverted towards off the field stuff and posturing that our enemies are creaming themselves at the thought of.

Looking at the past experiences of Administrators at football clubs, I suspect the management team might be released soonest. This is not a comment on how effective the present management team are, or are likely to be in future. Administrators tend to release them because they earn a high wedge. Prepare for John Brown/Neil Murray/Billy Kirkwood taking the team in a fortnight.

Anyways, well said Ally. A rallying call of defiance.

You may be right, but in my opinion there is also the very real possibility that Ally turns around and tells the administrators that he will do his job free gratis for a period of time.

I actually think that he IS that kind of individual. I dont think he needs to worry about his pay check and he just might do that because he is able. Others in the backroom staff may not be able to unfortunately.

I'd bet Ally will work for nothing actually
