Since Rangers do not 'own' any of the Youth players, as they are contracted to RYD and not RFC, what is stopping RYD selling players like Fleck to the highest bidder and not RFC? RYD is owned by Rangers and is a separate entity to ensure that funds are ring-fenced by the club so that money for youth development is not spent on transfer fees or other areas of the club.
