Bill Ng back in race to buy crisis-hit Rangers

Recommended Posts

According to the Pacific Quay CSC as it stands he is at the least advanced stage of the 3 bidders. In fact they have the UK based one quite a bit ahead of the others

Fixed that for you!

Is it possible, given Ng said he wanted a Scottish/British board, that it's people working for Ng who have reached agreement with Whyte?

Also, Ng is on record as wanting a CVA, so does that mean 2 of the 3 bids want a CVA?

Again according to the Pacific Quay CSC its the British based consortium who have agreed the deal with Whyte. Imo though all that means is Whyte has agreed a deal with Whyte :(

As Frankie has said Ng has never pulled out but any deal has to be realistic. He first backed away due to administrators moving the goalposts too often during negotiations. He is still in the hunt however his bid is now 50% less than previous. Initial offer was 20m, since Miller pulled out and Duff and Phelps have said they are willing to talk to Ng with less than the 11.6M Miller offered.

From the man himself:

"Its been crazy. I woke up to 20 missed calls from Scotland and have been told they are willing to accept 50 per cent of what I initially offered, it seems they are now more receptive and no longer digging their heels in with unrealistic demands".

"I'll concede that I am a fan only and my expertise is limited, but the problem at Rangers can be fixed with a restructing plan. After shutting up and down to UK in last couple months Im leaving it this time to my agents there to handle the negotiations"
