Bill Ng back in race to buy crisis-hit Rangers

Recommended Posts

I don't think that there's time for a CVA before the end of the season, at which point the players wages revert to their original levels and the administrators will need to get rid of players and staff, not forgetting about the fact that some players can apparently walk at that stage as well.

All of the players can walk in a newco scenario.

It may not be the main reason but it certainly didn't help.

Of course it didn't help but a main reason for walking away, I don't think so. I'd say majority of fans were happy to hear him out - more so given there was no other option.

Miller could have alleviated any fan concerns at any point and chose not to.

The banners were just a convenient excuse IMO.

Or maybe he's telling the truth and Duff&Duffer are talking the books up.

That element is probably true but, again, I'm sure Miller would have been able to make an educated guess at that beforehand via the data room.

I'm sure they are, but a man with a reported $50m fortune was never going to be rich enough to take on The Rangers. D&P must have known this too. It stinks.

We're also supposed to have season ticket money in hand. We don't.

there's nothing stopping them collecting season ticket money. motherwell operated for two year in administration.

time is not about to run out.

the deadline is merely approaching where d&p need to start doing their jobs properly.

How many fans would renew as it stands? Not many and certainly not enough to input the kind of finance the club needs to retain staff and full operations.

I agree there may be more time than some suggest but none of us are sitting comfortably and D&P are not the only culpable party.

oh part of doing their jobs is making the cuts that should be made.

I underlined the word of importance. We're speaking about 25 individuals here and by the sound of some, these chaps only wait for a newco to happen by to jump ship. That won't be the case with all players ... I for one would assume.

As difficult as it will be, it is beyond bizarre these cuts weren't made months ago.

However, I'm merely stating the point that although we have have time per se, there are a variety of other problems associated with using that time. That should not be under-estimated.
