Renaming the training facility at all seems a bit crass to me when it's being spoken about at this point in time and that's where I agree with what Bluedell has said on the matter because now just isn't the time to be dealing with it.

Agreed, but since it is on the agenda it's something that merits debate

One things for sure. For some reason - can't quite put my finger on it - there's something about Mr Green renaming our training facility to McNeil Park that just doesn't quite sit right.

Aye but that interview with Gullit was conducted in December 2007, and at that point Gullit wouldnt have had the hindsight Re Kaka that we all have now :thup:

 

In December 2007, I saw Kaka's decline start. Now, admittedly I was rather alone on seeing it, and was delighted when we sold for so much money. So I'll forgive Ruud this one.

Martin Bain saw our decline starting in 2001, what was done or said about that? "finished as a club" was his exact words.
