SPL to vote on July 4

Recommended Posts

Spl to vote on July 4 whether or not to let the "Newco" in. Our season ticket deadline is July 2. The timing of their meetings is just perfect as always!

Got to be an extension on season tickets now. During a time of recession how can you expect fans to fork out more than 400 quid when they don't know if we are going to be facing Celtic or East Stirling next season four times next season.

I can't see many fans renewing their season tickets until they know one way or another what level of opposition they'll be jeering at Ibrox next season.

2 and a half weeks away? Just enough time for the tabloids to publish more bullshit about us in their shitty wee meaningless papers.

its only 2 weeks away. I'm not sure we could have expected it any sooner.

How hard can it be to organise? The chairmen of all the SPL clubs will have known a date for voting was on the horizon. They'll all be sitting rubbing their hands with excitement wishing it was sooner.

Apparently the SPL's own bureaucracy meant that following Green's CVA failure they had to call a meeting today to formally arrange the voting meeting in 14 days time.

14 days notice is apparently required and despite green claiming to have applied last Thursday its only been done today.
