More Players to Leave McLeod‏@BBCLiamMcLeod

Recommended Posts

From todays Record.

Davis and McGregor are believed to have been infuriated by Greenâ??s stubborn refusal to communicate with the squad or answer questions about his plans for the future. We have also learned the players were outraged to learn on June 14 Green had, in fact, transferred all contracts without informing them, their agents or the SPFA.

This is now being probed by lawyers who believe the club was in breach of employment law.

It is also being claimed by sources close to the players that the situation is being made even more complicated by the clubâ??s refusal to enter into negotiations to strike flexible agreements.

One source said: â??There are some players who would be willing to move over to the newco so long as the worst-case scenario next season is playing for Rangers in the First Division.

â??But if the club finds itself in the Third Division they would wish to reconsider. But no one at the club is making any effort to talk to them.â?

Itâ??s understood Fleck spent yesterday attempting to contact the clubâ??s management but his calls were not returned.

Rhys McCabe considering "Speaking out" against Green after Green twice refused to meet him in the past week. Do it son, become a legend.

We need this, we need players to come out and tell us what has been happening since he took over. Albeit not much by the looks of it.

That's fine let's here it from his point of view, but if he's going to moan that he wants to know where he will be playing before he commits. Then join the Q mate because we won't know until the two faced twats have the final meeting.

But in reading some of what is coming out it isnt a simple problem of Green not being able to inform the players where they will be playing.

It is now being suggested that he is refusing to meet players (why one would ask) and transferring contracts over without informing players (again, even courtesy would say he should do that).

You have to ask yourself what Green's "end game" is if player's are simply asking to have their contracts transferred with flexibility to allow them to stay if we are in the 1st Division or leave if we are in the 3rd. I dont see that as being an unreasonable compromise - it is certainly preferable to the current situation of players simply leaving. The club is getting nothing by them leaving. If we end up in the 3rd division we would lose them anyway so why not give them the flexibility they are asking for. If we are in the 1st division some would go and some would stay - but as things stand right now we are far more likely to lose players than keep them.

I am more and more cynical of Green by the day - we can thank SDM & Whyte for that, I distrust everyone to do with Rangers these days (aside from Ally & big Jig).
