I thought he made a very good point when he talked a club who put a real effort into avoiding relegation and had some success at the half way point . Players had stood up to play, some injured, some suspended and yet despite their efforts the fix came in. Like a dodgy car the milometer was reset to zero and they lost all that their efforts had gained in the first half of the season. He made a very valid point in response to a question whether the fans would support a move to the Conference League. And he replied - "why not, we've got the 4th highest attendance in the UK, and higher than Celtic, who are in the Champions League. And that's us playing in a worse standard than the English Conference".
