Sandaza contract finally terminated in mutual agreement

Recommended Posts

employment law exists to protect people from people like you.

still sandaza is clearly happy with however much we paid out to him.

You're sounding slightly melodramatic. :)

Footballers may legally be employees like any other but considering the obscene amounts they get paid I don't feel guilty about looking at them differently.

There has been a mutual agreement to terminate his contract. Legal disputes are rarely black and white, there are often faults on both sides, Even the strongest case can go pear shaped when it comes before the guy in the red jersey. Sensible parties will usually seek a compromise and the settlement figure will reflect the relative strength of the parties position. Without knowing the amounts involved it's impossible for anyone to say who was the winner and who was the loser in this situation. One would hope that Green consulted with the Club's Employment Law Solicitors before deciding to get rid of Sandaza.

Why would Sandaza and his legals avoid a case they were sure to win (in your eyes)?

Considering we don't know the amounts involved, looks like you're jumping to conclusions.
