He has not (yet?) been appointed to the listed holding company. The directors of the company with the football club licence are therefore Mather, Stockbridge, J Easdale and S Easdale. They have invested in the club and said that they will continue to invest in the club. He's bought out Green, so that chancer will be gone. From what I gather, he's here for the long run and not to make quick/easy money. No wonder they didn't announce this disgrace yesterday! We really desperately need a respectable Rangers man with top notch business credentials on that board. The Easdales having 2 out of 4 board seats is not good news because Mather is weak and the Easdales will only need to look at him a certain way and he'll vote with them. That team of Mather, Stockbridge, J Easdale and S Easdale still seems a wee bit Green-oriented for me. Sandy Easdale only has an agreement to buy Green's shares, so he's not a significant shareholder yet.
