The QC representing Rangers described Ahmed's claim as "breathtaking in its audacity." Goodness knows what other audacious and breathtaking decisions, at the club's expense, took place when Ahmed and Green were in office.

Sadly the insanity of this was pointed out at the time.

From the prospectus:

(a) Imran Ahmad

Under an employment agreement dated 7 December 2012 (but effective as at 1 June 2012) RFCL shall employ Imran Ahmad as Commercial Director of RFCL with a salary of £350,000 per annum plus all reasonable expenses properly incurred plus a bonus to be approved by the Chairman or Chief Executive based on commercial contracts negotiated by Mr Ahmad. The agreement is terminable by RFCL for cause or on 12 months’ notice and by Mr Ahmad on 3 months’ notice

The 5% cut he claims is the reason why he was never a director of the plc, if he were then the information would be public.

Going by some of the stuff that's been leaking out plus what we already knew about their cozy wee bonus culture from the IPO, the amount of verbal agreements and virtual backhanders going on when Green & co took over is absolutely staggering.

The gravy train was an express service, no stops til it hit the buffers. What you described above should be clear enough to the CoS too though mate. Here's hoping some common sense prevails.
