This may not worry some but one thing which we haven't considered is that there is the very real possibility that we could lose BOTH our manager AND our now-previous captain. It would take a lot of sting out of the pro-Fergie fans if he was sent away a bad boy. Thomson has been stripped of the captaincy at Hibs. Murray flying in from France. Lataby the old smoking,drinking soul man gave him the runaround a few weeks ago. 1 bad game doesn't make him a liability either. The arguements to put down our best player (this isn't up for debate really, it shouldn't be he is) are pretty terrible to be honest. Anyone knocks PLg and its "whoa whoa whoa don't say anything before we know the facts". Yet it's open season on Barry, pretty poor double standards. Also sounds we're playing pretty pish with Rae in midfield (Can't see it ) . Masterstroke so far. I don't think Gavin Rae is a long term change, he is just a stop-gap. I am sure if Barry leaves then at least one midfielder will be brought in soon. We havn't really been that dominant since Barry took over in midfield and we are certainly no better as when he was with Blackburn.
