Yes. It's Barries responsibility i think but Ally, as his elder, employer, manager has a duty to manage him properly.

I agree, he needs a boot in the balls but the way Ally has treated him is not how to do it.

MacLeod is a wee diamond craig, a very very nice lad. From a very good family too.

It's not as black and white as being simply ironic. There is more to it than that.

I would rather keep the player who may earn us millions in the future with his full career ahead of him than persist with a man we know is out of his depth and is costing us money.

He certainly does but he needs a father figure type to give him good solid advice not fill his head with delusions of grandeur or treat him as Ally does.

I agree, there is to much of a "you or us" mentality IMO. In every company in the world people wont get on with people including staff getting on with bosses, but if you have a good employee you don't get rid of them based on not getting on with them.

Wouldn't be the first time Ally has put personal feelings ahead of the good of the club.

Some may say Alex Ferguson got rid of players, but he did so with Roy Keane at the end of Keane's career. There is no way he'd had got rid of Keane at his peak in the late 90s. And since retiring he has said his biggest mistake was letting Jaap Stam go.

Did Fergie not dump Paul Ince when he was supposed to be a superstar?

Selling someone for 7.5million when you already have a ready made replacement worth 4 times that (Scholes) is different from sending someone out on loan when you don't.

People blaming Ally for letting McKay go out on loan need to take a good look at themselves, he needs games under his belt and he will get that at Morton,it wouldn't have done his career any good sitting on the sidelines at Ibrox waiting for his chance.

Hopefully he does well until the end of the season then returns to Ibrox with a change of attitude and works hard to get into the side.

Nobody would bat an eye lip if that was the reason. But if (an its only an if) the reason was due to a personality clash then its wrong.
