Thank god we won that Youth Cup tonight or Ally would be getting blamed for losing the Cup as well as blamed for losing young players like Telfer who've decided to move on.

 

I'm comfortable blaming him for this where he and his coaches seem to have created a football culture where Dundee Utd is a more attractive prospect

Very few of us have any real insight into what Rangers players, especially the younger lads are thinking. Just because it's still tough to break into the first team at Rangers, even in the lower leagues, isn't a definite sign of anything in particular other than the raw fact that it's still difficult for young lads to break into the first team.

No one is forcing him to go. The board are happy he is though.

 

We had to offer him a deal to get cash for him. He could have signed it. But no real attempt has been made to get him to.

I don't know anything but we've just played a whole two years against part time footballers and Telfer has not had so much as a look in. Not saying it'll be the one deciding factor but I doubt its exactly helped.
