has a big debt been called in ?

People telling lies and half-truths but expect media and press accreditations at every home game has nothing to do with impartial, fair and investigative journalism.

Doesn't exist here. It's not that bad a place to live, I don't want to over egg the complaint pudding, but there are many things which could be better, and journalism is one of them.

On the other hand, if going through what certain other countries had to go through is the price to pay for having a written constitution and the equivalent of the BverfG, you can see the appeal of the British MO.

I do very much expect that Rangers can very well e.g. hand out press accreditations as they see fit. If a McLaughlin, Spence, Spiers or Guidi spouts bile on us but expects entrance on a match day et al, it is well within the right of the club to reject that person. Their respective employers have other people doing the job, have they not? It will not stop them telling their "own stuff", but it would send out our mark.

Generally, the cabal of old veteran sports dinosaurs reporting on the Scottish game need an urgent revamp. In many ways, they live their life in this small country and seem to have assumed a lord's status when it comes to sports reporting. For the last decade(s), the same faces all over the place. And now that they have their once-in-a-lifetime chance at glory, they milk it to their hearts content. It is due course that we put some salt into said milk.

What comes out of Rangers comes from people who are looking after themselves, not our Rangers.

We have far bigger problems than the media.

Our main problem with the media for more than a decade, centres on it's exploitation by spindoctors to mislead, confuse and further divide our fanbase to an extent that we find it difficult to focus and bring our power to bare against those in the boardroom when necessary.

Forget 'cabals', they tend to be a tool of the misleader.

gillivan hasnt had a thing right in years

You may well be correct but that's not his objective.

What he's doing is 'headline grabbing' where he puts out a story regardless of whether factually correct or not. His intention is to capture people's attention and hope enough will accept its validity often to suit their own agenda.

An example was the BTC and Rangers cheated using EBTs to get players they couldn't otherwise afford. That was and is still being peddled constantly despite the BTC being won & LNS declaring 'no sporting advantage'

Correct. A lot of our support still can't see the real problem.
