Truth is Novo offered to play on loan for free while McCoist was in charge. Nothing to do with Ricksen match. Astounding stuff this.

Perhaps it is time for the players to stand up and fight as well? Like starting the game on Sunday, but leave the field of play after 20 mins for good. Game probably forfeited, 3-0 for the Scum (who cares) but sure world-wide reports about the shambles at the club. Ashley and Co. will be marked as evil once again ...

Love that idea, but they would be severely reprimanded and fined. As would the club, which we can ill afford right now.

RANGERS today would like to clarify the situation with regard to Nacho Novo following recent reports in the media.

At no time was Nacho instructed to leave Murray Park due to him joining a Rangers supporters’ group. The Club had permitted Nacho and Peter Lovenkrands to train at Murray Park for a number of weeks in the lead up to the Fernando Ricksen Tribute Match to allow them to get match fit.

We would like to wish Nacho all the very best for the upcoming season and thank both him and Peter for taking part in Sunday’s Tribute match for Fernando.

Not sure if he could do that since he is playing for the Carolina Railhawks.
