EGM Result: King resolutions pass with 85% of vote

Paul Murray said its going to 'take some time to get it right in appointing a manager'. Does that mean they're sticking with McDowell for the rest of the season?

Im just reading bits and pieces of transcript, missed the live feed.

Get it right is the most important part, if it means Kenny McDowall until end of season so be it.

ps don't tell Rab.

No chance.
do you really think anyone would come in now and risk not achieving promotion?

Think when they talk to kenny he will advise them to bring back ally for player moral etc.

Depends on how things look financially and whether ally will step aside with no payoff.

It would be an extremely bad idea indeed if Kenny MCDowell was to remain as caretaker manager until the end of the season. He is hopelessly out of his depth & doesn't want to be there.

I'm sure PM is aware of the the financial implications if we don't get promoted. I wouldn't be against bringing in someone like Stuart MCCall on a short term basis until the end of this season or next season just until we're back in the top division again.

Anyone coming in has the ready-made excuse that the damage was done before they took over.

We need a new manager right now. Not getting promotion is unthinkable
