Ashley HQ Raided re RFC takeover

Recommended Posts

You think the Record have the ability to dictate and orchestrate the timing of a Police raid?

This inquiry has been going on for years and there have been lots of raids/swoops and there will be lots more yet.

Maybe at LBG? Dont forget they accepted Whyte's £18m as part of his takeover which we now know was fraudulently obtained.

Why were they so keen to force this takeover(without it would appear doing any sort of due diligence ad to where this money came from) and in whose interests would it have been?

Not sure about this Ashley stuff though. What evidence is there to suggest he has been acting improperly?

Some may think the powers that be 'want' Rangers back in the big league, some may even say they are 'desperate' for us to be back in the big league.

The truth is those who run the game and work in the media don't, they would rather see us suffer more.

The scum Record is trying to take our eye off the ball, of that there is no doubt.

The Record asks the polis to raid Ashleys Headquarters the week before we play Queen of the South, not sure about that.

A few people missing the point here.

This is big news in terms of the fraud that was conducted upon our club. The club was deliberately steered towards an insolvency event and recent arrests have shown the dubiety surrounding the purchase of the newco.

Yes, our match on Saturday may be of more importance now but the two need not be mutually exclusive.

Matter of fact, I was not really having a go at the paper (or the media) putting up this story in our play-off week. I just noted that we have seen such stuff happening before, usually ahead of rather important games. And much of it was obviously not paper-driven, but people- or events-driven. And rarely was it as positive as the King and 3Bears share acquiitions. Essentially another hallmark of this season.

Good grief. Do the media control the police or are the police part of the conspiracy?

So what is your point? This clearly has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with our fixture list so why mention it?
