Warburton interview after game

Recommended Posts

Everything is in place, we have it all in good measure. However we aren't putting it all together, defensive mistakes and a wee bit one dimensional atm, once that is ironed out we'll be on our way.

We need three or four quality players too, particularly up front where we're struggling. Miller and Clark aren't the answer

Was it a bad day at the office or to be expected?

It definitely was a bad day at the office ranger, personally the first twenty mins we moved the ball about well that's when we should have killed them off after that it became sluggish the only time we saw waggy was when he scored, at one point in the first half he was back covering for tav who was non existent. Every attack came down his side and he was far too slow at getting back which meant Kiernan had to come across and cover for him leaving the middle of our defence wide opened. Don't let's kid ourselves Morton deserved their point and Grant Adam had hardly anything to do in the second half. That's the game I was at...

Are the problems, that the team had yesterday, typical of the team's form leading up to the match?

I would say so personally ranger, I feel were going back the way, when was the last good game tav had? Why are we bringing on Clark when the boy hardie is scoring for fun? why isnt McKay getting in the box forcing the opposition to tackle him. This isnt the same team we witnessed at the start and im fed up hearing the ten men behind the ball nonsense. Its up to us to draw them out is it not? Morton gave us plenty to get in behind them cos they broke in numbers when they attacked us..

If Holt hadn't panicked with the last kick we'd have all went home happy, if Tav hadn't made a simple error with his cushioned back-pass it wouldn't have mattered where Holt put his effort. Games can hinge on one or two moments in 90 minutes and that's what makes it so exciting.

The fact that Hibz didn't take any advantage at all was a bonus we'll greatly take...they'll be gutted about that fearing a play-off place might be inevitable, and hurting more this week than any bear.

They won't handle the pressure in front of a crammed Ibrox on the 26th , firstly, we must beat Falkirk again on the 19th to get the fans back onside.

Ibrox will not be full on the 26th, nothing like it. :D
