Murdo, you can go f*ck a duck, son. You think we are ever going to forget what you did to us?

The fear you feel right now is only the start of the rise of the latent resentment that's headed your way.

Murdo MacLeod: Get over it Walter

It's time to stop the whining

MURDO MacLEOD has told Walter Smith it’s time Rangers stopped whinging.

SunSport revealed how ex-boss Smith claimed Gers will always be bitter about being forced down to the lowest level of our game.

But Hoops legend MacLeod insists they should start focusing on the future, rather than feeling sorry for themselves and said: “When you start thinking like that, that’s negative.

“Your main point going into the game should be to beat Celtic.

“If you’re not focused on beating Celtic then you’re thinking ‘Oh, we’ve been hard done by’.

“Don’t feel sorry for yourself, just get up and do your job.”

Bitter Smith says Gers would use their feelings of injustice as motivation.

But MacLeod added: “Driving yesterday, I was hearing everybody on the radio still talking about it. It’s in the past.

“The low point for Rangers is what happened four years ago, but they’ve got to move on.

“Everywhere I go, guys come up to me and say ‘I was there for the 4-2 game’. Things like that.

“They are the good memories for fans. Don’t go back to a memory that is not good for your club.

“We don’t talk about when Fergus McCann was buying the club and we were just about to be closed down.

“That’s finished, in the past. Talk about the good things that have happened — cup finals, title wins.

“If, in ten years’ time, Rangers win the title then everything else will be in the past and they’ll not talk about that again.

“But you can’t use that as motivation to play better because you won’t.

“Everybody has to move on and get on with it.

“It comes back to the old saying — just do your talking on the pitch.”

Celtic coasted to a 2-0 win over Gers in last season’s League Cup semi.

But MacLeod expects a closer contest this time.

He said: “It was a mismatch last year.

“But Rangers have improved and the way they played against Dundee means everybody knows they’ve got that in them.”

There is an enormous difference between what happened to us and when Celtic nearly went bankrupt. For MacLeod to try to compare the two is just ridiculous.

Funny though.... I wouldn't be at all surprised if he supported the whole notion that Celtic had been cheated over a period of decades - remember McNeil talking about how Celtic had clearly been cheated ? They continue to peddle it decades after the fact, despite there being absolutely no truth to it

Yet they want us to "get over it" and "look to the future" for the hateful, spiteful way in which Scottish football treated us ?

Nobody should be reading your pish Murdo, it isn't worth using as toilet paper.

None of the people who lived through the past 4 years will ever forget the hatred that we faced in 2012 and since. We would be fools to think they won't come back and have another go given the chance. Forget, NEVER.

As if there was any need to stir up any emotions ahead of Sunday. The media goes from one despicable story to the next and then "wonder" how vile the hatred has become. They, much like the Scum, deserve any contempt they get.

A little surprised that he seems to be of the opinion that we're not a new club, none of that rubbish in there. Are they running out of people to push that argument then?

Aye!,but they will just keep regurgitating the same ones whenever they feel the need to sell more papers!.

The thing is, MW & DW,the back room team and the players are all just looking forward, however the fans will always carry bitterness towards Scottish football for the way our club has been treated, and I for one will never forgive them or forget that!.
