Everything we are not this evening. Manager should be extremely upset with this continual sloppiness. Guys like Wilson, Shiels and O'Halloran just not at the races while others are struggling to make an impression. You cant just flick a switch and turn it on for a cup final. We could easily end up with egg in our faces. Wilson is murder. Billy King is a headless chicken. I actually don't think MOH will ever be suited to our style either. Players going through the motions and more atrocious defending. der Berliner 3,239 Posted April 26, 2016 Share Posted April 26, 2016 (edited) This is as lacklustre a performance as you have ever seen, with a poor pitch and players apparently more interested in not getting injured than much else. Ball has been poor by his standards, same goes for Halliday. Zelalem the driving force in midfield, but gave the ball away to give Livvy almost an opener. Generally, a rather disjointed performance from the midfield (who has not played a lot together though). Then King gets clipped by Knox, but no foul is given. He "retaliates", Knox gets the free kick, delivers an inch-perfect cross unto Halkett who (having a good game thus far) sends it beyond Foderingham. Great goal and - sadly enough - deserved at this moment and time. NB: Our defence ain't great. But these games are essentially meaningless and given that we only have three centre-halfs AND Hibs are not Barca, I can give them some leeway. That said, they are professionals and should be professional enough not to let their levels drop too much. I like it when we're fluid but this evening no-one seems to know where they should be with everyone and anyone popping up anywhere on the pitch. I'd like to see someone on the pitch show a bit of emotion here.
