This is brutal! I'm really torn as to what to do?? Always buy my neice the top, however, if there is no guidance from the club indicating that the sales will go to Rangers then I won't be buying her one.

It's very sad but necessary.

Hopefully it will only be for a season and in future it will be remembered as a positive.

Lifted from FF

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING UNTIL THE CLUB SAYS SO.

In case anyone misses this from the Club 1872 Twitter account:

"Club 1872 is not aware of any change to merchandise situation at Rangers. We'd urge fans to wait for Rangers to comment before any purchase."

THE Sports Direct tycoon is preparing to put the kits on sale from Thursday despite not having permission from the club.

RANGERS are understood to be considering their legal position this afternoon after it emerged thousands of their replica shirts are due to go on sale without the club's permission tomorrow.

Record Sport understands a number of Scotland's leading high street sports shops have been taking deliveries of the club's new-look Puma strips throughout the past 24 hours and are ready to start selling the jerseys from in store and online from Thursday morning.

But that's despite a breakdown in relations between the Ibrox club and former retail partner, Mike Ashley's Sports Direct, with the ongoing battle thundering towards the courts.

We have also learned that Ashley's own stores are among those ready to roll out the new first, second and third kit tomorrow in a move which is certain to heighten tensions between Dave King's regime and the controversial billionaire.

Legal discussions have been taking place behind the scenes in the past 24 hours but Rangers have so far declined to make any comment.

Ashley was infuriated earlier this summer when King announced his board had terminated the retail tie-in with Ashley's firm - an agreement struck between the Newcastle owner and former Rangers chief executive Charles Green.

Record Sport later revealed how - as part of the stand-off - Rangers refused to launch the new home top by wearing it last season's Scottish Cup Final showpiece.

Mark Warburton's players kick off the new league season at home to Hamilton on Saturday but the players have already been wearing the latest Puma design in summer friendlies and in League Cup action despite its unavailability in the shops.

Now, though, Puma - a company with close links to Ashley and Sports Direct - appear determined to get their shirts on sale before the SPFL season kicks off.
