'The deadest of dead parrots'

Hibernian 1-0 Queen of the South

Posted at 20:43

"It's a bit ridiculous that this League Cup tie is still alive. It should be the deadest of dead parrots. Hibs have missed two fantastic close-range chances from Grant Holt and Liam Fontaine. Every time they put the ball in the Queen of the South penalty area it's panic stations. A bit less profligacy and Hibs will be in the next round." BBC Scotland reporter Tom English:lol:

How long did we think it would take for this to come up after they were beaten? As it happens it took around 15 minutes. Are they ever beaten fairly by anybody? The view of the exuberant hibz directly after being booted out the cup by QOS.

The Referee

Another season and an other clueless official

He started well but lost the plot never to recover after book Gray for his first challenge

No consistency what so ever

Why he didn't send off Hamill was a mystery?

Stopping play for non head injuries too

"He started well" because they were winning going into the second half. Then when they started to lose he transformed into a clueless idiot. It's a conspiracy.

Really don't see Lennon lasting the season. He may even have packed up by Christmas.

Hearts out 2 cups also, last year they punched above their weight and for me it just proved there isn't much between 8 or 9 top flight clubs and the likes of Falkirk, Raith, QotS etc hence why a 18-20 team top flight makes more sense.
