says IS IT not it is. Its a question petes (sic) just forgot the question mark

Ah, thank you very much, I see what he meant now.

In that case I'd say yes it is; because it indicates to the rest of us the severity of the punishment.

Pardon me; but if you read Craig's posts #160 to #163 it seems that he was not aware of the ban and certainly not aware of the length of the ban you rightly imposed.

So what? Nobody was confused.

I'm not even sure why you're commenting on it all.

Seriously?!? If you thought we were rubbish in the first half, I think you should just forget about watching Rangers completely because you'll always be disappointed. Maybe your post was made to solicit a response, or maybe it was your genuine opinion. Either way, I just don't understand you.

We were playing a side we should have beaten 8-0. We were rubbish.

It looks like he has taken to trying to wind people up. Oh well it is his prerogative.

"should" and "life" - not least when it comes to football - are rarely the same thing.

And I find it rather strange that people who have been watching football, not least during these last few years (and not just in Scotland), still come up with these ageing stereotypes. How long before the "excuse club" is being removed from the holster and applied to anyone pointing at obvious things that don't fit into the view that Rangers must hammer weak teams by the half-dozen, no matter where, when, and under which circumstances ...

Yes those day's are gone. These teams are as fit as the rest now and expert in parking the bus and hit on the break tactics.

... which is why I deemed it important to get two new CHs and a good DM or two, so we are more able to defend these tactics. You would hope that Morelos and Herrera start clicking fast, and that perhaps Hardie might get a few more minutes in the first team. For all their "industry", Miller and Waghorn simply don't score enough goals to get regular starting places - though one sees reason why to use them in the first game.

Lifted from FF re behind closed doors game today (was it against Raith?)

"3-0 to Rangers.

Not sure of full line up but I'm told Alnwick, Hodson, Pena, Wilson, Rossiter, Windass, Morelos, Herrera, Hardie and Beerman all featured.

Only know 2 of the scorers Morelos and Hardie."

Presumably getting folk ready for Tuesday. Interesting scorers.

Not for the first time this week it seems you have some sense that people have nothing but time on their hands to deal with a gersnet matters. We all have real lives to be getting on with.

I was NOT confused about the ban or length of it. For clarity, I had a brief moment whilst at the Met Museum in NYC (culture and me aren't best friends...) and was in the thread in question. I responded to LB a few times and continued in the thread to see BD had banned him. And responded to that banning being absolutely appropriate, regardless of being temporary or permanent.

I then went into the moderators forum and BD had indeed informed all moderators of a temporary ban, as well as the duration, all of which was done prior to my posting in said thread.

So there was absolutely no confusion whatsoever, but merely that I should probably have checked the moderators forum first. But seeing as I'm on vacation and browsing when I find a moment I'm sure that I can be excused this time.

It was the same the other day when you highlighted me having quoted a post from JFK calling you something derogatory - you highlighted my post included said derogatory term... it would be nice if people gave the moderators slack every now and then because in trying to prevent him from being nasty to you I was doing so at nearly 1am in the morning here, exhausted from a day of walking the city and with a wife expecting some attention :ninja:

Remember, we are liberal in our moderation, we expect adults to act like such but we WILL moderate where needed - but we have lives outside of Gersnet too, so cut some slack at times and don't jump to conclusions.

Rant over
