U20s plus 1st team squad players lose to Tynecastle FC today

The picture elfideldo paints from the game is far less problematical than some on here want to have it. By the looks of it, it was no more than handing a few chaps some much needed competitive game time. Nigh totally different team in the second half too.

BTW, elfideldo, do keep on writing these reports. Perhaps it seems that people don't mind, but that is not the case. I for one read nigh any of these reports - and probably forget to hit the "Thank you" button after doing so far too often.

In fact, you might ask the club to have your reports published, as such reports from the youth levels hardly make it unto the club's HP at all. And while it may not bother your everyday punter, the parents of these chaps would sure be immensily proud if their boys' name would feature on the club's website.

There is a reason for this. They don't want other clubs snooping around our Academy players. Obviously you can't really prevent it but reports on the game give them a precursor to who they may wish to go see.

Tynecastle had a very comfortable 3-1 win over East Stirling tonight. Looks like they have made a significant improvment from last season.

A Rangers team should still be beating them though.

Am I expecting too much to suggest ourU20'sshould be significantly better than Tynecastle or East Stirling ?
