There is absolutely NO attempt to get the ball & actually LEADS with a right fist into Tav's head/jaw.Unfortunately, Stokes gets away without any further punishment coz the ref "dealt" with it at the time, issuing a yellow card. Why Tav got booked, we'll never know. StuGers 477 Posted August 17, 2017 Share Posted August 17, 2017 If the Compliance Officer does his job (no laughing at the back...) then he should still be issuing a red card to Stokes for his involvement in the Ryan Jack incident. He wasn't booked in that instance so they CAN use video evidence to retrospectively issue a card. And don't forget the sweeping up of Lennon's actions.
