Frankie 8,529
The BBC studio agreed the player was lucky to avoid a red card but suggested there's no case to answer in the rules to apply a post-match ban. They seem about as sure as a Les Dennis impersonation.
der Berliner 3,716
Any word on Stokes hitting out (again) at the St. Johnstone player at the drop-ball scene?
chilledbear 16
Did they show the foul on Candeias ? That was a red card and didn't even rate a yellow by the ref.
Frankie 8,529
No, never showed it. Must admit, I missed that at the game but johnnyk said to me at the time it was disgraceful.
pete 2,499
I switched off and went to bed after the Motherwell-Killie game the rest didn't interest me. It is a pity Steven Thomson is following the party line. You can see they are reading from the autocue it is far too plastic to be a real chit-chat.
ian1964 10,720
No, never showed it. Must admit, I missed that at the game but johnnyk said to me at the time it was disgraceful. Really?, the worst tackle in the game, could have been a serious injury and should have been a straight red!, incredible yet typical of the BBC! It led, of course, to nothing, as Stokes, much like the Legoeater, can do whatever he wants on the field of play. Bill 13,717
The whole point of BBC football coverage in Scotland is to promote the interests of Celtic FC. Every weekday evening the public broadcasting facilities of Reporting Scotland are devoted to what can only be described as the daily Celtic news magazine. Midweek and weekends sees Sportsound and Sportscene turn up the burners on the Celtic propaganda machine, covering up any possible flaws in Celtic's perfectly manicured image with whatever lies and invention is required. There's no way out of this, the decisions have been taken and policies implemented. Either watch it or don't watch it but forget about complaining.
der Berliner 3,716
... if you complain, DO remember to complain to Ofcom now. They supervise the BBC too now.
scotjo 19
Just watching this and noticed they referred to John McGinn of Hibs as 'The Buffalo'. Isn't that a nickname for Morelos? Also, Steven Thompson saying Hibs won't push Aberdeen for 2nd but may push Rangers for 3rd or 4th. The wife is wondering why I'm shouting at the TV. Also Hibs are no more than charlatans, anyone can see that with their results since their ONLY match that counts, if anyone can't see we look to be on the march a bit now and surely fav for 2nd place they are either in denial or should go to Specsavers, I suspect the former given the show we are referring to.
