A section of a club statement said: “The board has discussed the matter at successive board meetings, and has come to a unanimous view.” That decision has angered a section of the Hibees support, who made their point clear during the 2-2 home draw with Motherwell this afternoon. The display read: “13,000 season tickets. Have they actually asked all 13.000 season ticket holders their view. Until they do that they can have no gripe with their board.
