[FT] Hamilton 1 - 4 Rangers (John 21, 25; Candeias 27; Dorrans 59 pen)

Recommended Posts

Danny Wilson is still to return to full-time training, as is David Bates.

Which explains why McCrorie was involved.

BTW, if you want to skip the horror-show of BT's or Sky's commentary and you can access it, the Austrians of LaolaTV will provide the game live tonight too ...

(If it ain't work in the UK (I assume that BT & Sky won't allow free streams in Britain), AFAIK all you need to do is use the free Opera browser, who's got an in-built VPN that should solve the IP adress problem. You find that in its security settings)

TEAM NEWS

RANGERS

Pedro Caixinha hopes to have the injured defensive duo of Bruno Alves and Declan John back in contention to face Accies. Alves travelled to Madrid last weekend to have his calf strain treated by Cristiano Ronaldo’s physio and returned to the Rangers Training Centre on Monday. John has been back training with the squad this week.

Lee Wallace is a long term injury concern as he recovers from a groin problem. He is expected to miss up to six weeks of action.

Danny Wilson is still to return to full-time training, as is David Bates.

Nothing about Miller in there. I half expected, if the stories are true about him being exiled, to read about him being a doubt with a niggle. Time will tell.

Hopefully Alves can come back in as well as John, who looks worth a run in Wallace's absence. That should improve the defence, and another game further down the line for Pena should see him continue his improvement in form and hopefully he can last 75 mins or so as he builds up to full participation.

Just get us a win tonight Bears or it is going to be a veeerrrrrryyyyyy long fortnight until the next game!

We'll be playing Benfica over in America (was it Canada) on October 6th ... with a 1 am KO (for this Bear at least).

EDIT:

RANGERS will travel to Canada to face Benfica in the 2017 Eusebio Cup at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton on October 6th.

Pedro Caixinha’s Light Blues will face countryman Rui Vitória’s Benfica during the international break next month.

For the first time ever, the historic Eusebio Cup will be played on Canadian soil on Friday October 6th at 7pm local time.
