with historic sex offences against primary school pupils

Gerald King pleaded not guilty and was allowed to continue on bail ahead of a pre-trial hearing next month

A FORMER chairman of Celtic Boys Club has appeared in court charged with historic sex offences against school pupils during his stint as a primary teacher.

Gerald King, 65, has been accused of lewd and libidinous practices towards six students while he was teaching at St Martha’s Primary School in Balarnock.

He was suspended from his job following the revelations and he was warned to stay away from the school after his arrest on February 15 last year.

King appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court today to face charges spanning from August 1, 1983, to June 30, 1989, at the Glasgow school.

It’s claimed King, from Springburn, is also facing a seventh charge of taking or making indecent images of children between January 1987 and December 1988.

He pleaded not guilty and was allowed to continue on bail ahead of a pre-trial hearing next month.

Journalists in Scotland are too busy putting 2 and 2 together and blaming Rangers.

Indeed.  They are even trying to tarnish us because of Gordon Neely... when it was known that Rangers informed the police and sacked Neely as soon as it was found out.

Have a look at this BBC news article about the situation.

Notice any omission of key information? You would think it would be in the public interest to know where this abuse happened in case any of the public’s children were potentially involved.
