Was discussing this the other day at work with a few fans of various clubs after I mentioned Nick Walsh's common sense approach on Sunday (he's apparently the SFA's new great white hope). We couldn't come up with one name that people thought was good enough. That was Beaton though and he blatantly wasn’t using a balanced approach when refereeing. I watched him refereeing an Aberdeen game last season, against Thistle, I think, and he was hopeless in that as well. He got a 4 game ban to the lower leagues for it.
