Title challenge?

Recommended Posts

For some reason it seems to be more likely these days that the Yahoos struggle to get full points against the lesser lights of the Premiership. Watched about 5 mins of their game against Aberdeen and not only did Tierney score their second on the counter, from a free kick in front of their area, but also there was very little decent football being played. The Austrian commentator sounded rather bemused at the quality on display ... and they are used some rubbish indeed.

Pity Aberdeen couldn’t even take a point from them at home today and with Celtic down to 10 men in the last 20 mins. We need to keep winning, beat them ourselves twice and hope teams like Kilmarnock, Hibs and Hearts can take more points off them. Aberdeen though......pfff

The sheep followers exist in an alternate reality where McInnes is the reason they're not winning titles and some other un-named manager would be sweeping all before them with that side they have.  They don't grasp their level.

Twice an Aberdeen free-kick from the wing 30+ yards. Send all the big guys up, pass it square to the coloured chappie playing for them and he blasts it into row 149. Right enough maybe that was the safest thing to do as the second tim goal came from a free-kick floated into the box for the big men.

... the text commentary of the BBC mentioned at the final whistle that this is Brenda's 10th straight win over the Sheep in a row. I have more confidence that the Dark Blues take something from the Scumhut on Wednesday than Aberdeen will this or next season. Alas, the Legoeater was battered from pillar to post like he used to do it ...

Most people get that but not them.  This has been posted on their forum just minutes ago regarding McInnes.

You've taken us as far as you can.. 1 lucky cup win in 4 years...Feck off

It's McInnes fault they are are third in Scotland which aside from a brief SAF episode is more or less what they have always been.  See the suggestion that some un-named entity could take them further?  I don't get it.  I don't expect to win the Champions league because the contenders are operating at a different level.

That's the sheep reality in the Scottish game they apparently can't see. Even in our weakened position we can spend more in a single window that they will in years of windows.  Hell more on a single player than they will in years of windows and that's even without the bonus of Euro football.
