Mr Hughes should be suspended pending this investigation. I also believe steps must be taken to ascertain whether any other SFA individuals were aware of what Mr Hughes said about Rangers supporters before he was appointed a non-executive director of the governing body in 2015. Might be shite of course By the sounds of it the publication it appeared in took it off their site and they or other interested party had google remove it aswell prior to the SFA appointment of Hughes. The issues are that Hughes is supposed to be 'independent' and that there were possibly SFA personel with knowledge or complicent in the removal of the article. The fact such efforts were involved in the articles removal from the web shows that there was a perception of it being a black mark on such an 'independent' appointment in the first place by the candidate/SFA. Effectively, they(Hughes/SFA personel) have already passed self-judgement on Hughes/SFA personel, several years ago.
