I don't get why Worrall was in ahead of Katic when not only hasn't he played alongside Goldson he hasn't played at all. Puzzling but we got an acceptable result.

It was just to give one a well-earned rest - it could have been Goldson tonight. Saturday maybe rest Goldson?

Think I may have rested Katic in the home match on Sunday rather than in this. Though in saying that the league has to be our priority.

 

The Euro adventure is an entirely unexpected bonus and I most definitely bow to the judgement of Mr Gerrard.

Chuffed to bits with this result.  Excellent second half from the team after sitting back in the first half.  This should give them a confidence boost for the next game.
