We have St Johnstone, Ayr United & Livingston coming up in the next week before we go back into European action so definitely a chance for Middleton, Grezda etc to get starts. I would expect them both to start next Wednesday for example.

Middleton we know about. I think he can pretty much be called on whenever needed. It has to be a priority to get game time under Grezda's belt, to the extent his physical readiness allows.

Still think we are missing a playmaker aka carzola or hate to say it a Rogic or McGregor. Scum still ahead of us in that area but see us catching up across the other positions. 

IMHO, Arfield and Dorrans are just that, with Ejaria too. That said, guys of real playmaker-qualities are hard to come by. Maybe we look at Stephen Davis in January ... he'd fall into that category. But we haven't seen Grezda in action and Coulibaly ain't that bad too.

Watching the game back worrell gets caught out a few times. Too far away from Goldson and got split.  Hope katic is back in for st Johnstone and give worrell the Ayr game.

 

Be good to see dorrans Grezda and Middleton starting soon  . Also like to see coulibaly drop into the defensive role.

If we get to the league cup semi we will be playing it less than 48hrs after our Europa league game , shades of 2008 .

Not necessarily, it could be an OF semi, which would take place on the Sunday, or one SF could be in Edinburgh. if its us v hearts it could be on sunday at Murrayfield while bheasts play Dolly at Hampden. one KO at 12, the other at 3.
