Because if that’s free Scotland then it isn’t much of a freedom given those who want freedom from English rule actually want to be under the rule of the EU. Its a choice that Scotland want to escape English rule, to become ruled by Europe. Surely you see the hypocrisy in that ? And if you don't then surely you also see how much of a struggle it is to extricate yourself from European rule once you are ruled by it - Brexit tells us all we need to know about choosing to leave the EU. And, in actual fact, you are completely wrong that Scotland "has no choice". Westminster.... you know, the English Parliament, granted Scotland the right to self-determination just a mere 4 yrs ago. Was that not a choice ? Did Scotland not CHOOSE by a 55% to 45% majority to remain part of the Union ??
