I think the rule for violent conduct reds only you miss the next game no matter the comp then its games in the comp you are sent off in.

I think we all agree it was a poor performance.

 

But, when you consider how well we defended, and slogged it out against a difficult opponent, in difficult conditions, then I see a positive there. In seasons past we would've capitulated. 

 

I still expect us to be beating this team, though.

When did Defoe "dive"? Any time he went down, twice thanks to Broadfoot, there sure was contact? Late one there was a tangle with another chap but both were wrestling. If you want to see a dive, watch Burke's against Hibs.

He kicked a defenders legs and threw himself down. It was horrible to see. Really hope gerrard stops him ever doing it again. 

 

Thank god we didnt get a pen or he would have been banned
