Id like to mention defoes ridiculous dive. As bad as burks if not worse. Burk at least was fouled 5 yards back from going down. 

 

Never want to see that again and thank god we didnt get a pen for it.

I think we all agree it was a poor performance.

 

But, when you consider how well we defended, and slogged it out against a difficult opponent, in difficult conditions, then I see a positive there. In seasons past we would've capitulated. 

 

I still expect us to be beating this team, though.

When did Defoe "dive"? Any time he went down, twice thanks to Broadfoot, there sure was contact? Late one there was a tangle with another chap but both were wrestling. If you want to see a dive, watch Burke's against Hibs.

He kicked a defenders legs and threw himself down. It was horrible to see. Really hope gerrard stops him ever doing it again.
