The way I see it he has to stay beyond January to help us to the title then into the CL groups. Then he could go in January 2021 for £40 million as a proven CL scorer when he will still be contracted for another two and a half years while we also pick up another £40 million in the CL groups. An £80 million cash influx that can swing the financial advantage in our direction. I think he might be persuaded to stay at least another 6 months in the Summer if we make the CL groups and Gerrard recently made it clear he would be disappointed if Alfie were to be sold in January. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
