I just feel like we do create some openings -- I'm not saying they are good chances or enough -- only to show a complete lack of quality. Today we've had a couple of long range shots hit straight at the 'keeper. If they go in, or make the 'keeper work and bit more, it changes the game. I agree with that to a certain extent, but if these players can't do it, we cannot tolerate it. We have to put on the younger players. This isn't just a blip, this is a persistent car crash and Gerrard is just watching it. Tavernier is always coming onto the ball from deep, which makes it easier to deal with for defenders. That's correct, but if he had done that after a few bad results it would have sent the right signal to the rest of the players, and it would have kept the crowd behind the team.
