An Edinburgh eleven

How about an Edinburgh XI of Rangers' players?

Or, if that is too difficult/impossible, an East Coast XI?

An East coast Rangers XI would be able to beat a West Coast outfit nae bother I reckon !

That is really difficult to think about.

It would probably be dominated by Hearts players although Hibs did have a few good players under McLeish like Latapy and Frank Sauzee.

Probably go with John Robertson upfront.

Stanton Hibs

Cumming,  Hearts

McKay,  Hearts

I like your half line. That’s a better solution than mine.

I’d forgotten about Davie Holt. A better defender than my choice, Thomson who pre-dated Tommy Gemmell in foraging up the touchline into winger territory.

Demonstrates the decline of Scottish football. You’re struggling for a team but @compo and I pick two cracking sides. Here’s another.

Gordon (Hearts)

Parker (Hearts) Schaedler (Hibs)

Garry McKay (Hearts) Barry (Hearts) Turnbull (Hibs)

Cormack (Hibs) Johnstone (Hibs)  Bauld (Hearts) Martin (Hibs) Willie Hamilton (Hearts/Hibs)

Probably you, a young lad of 40, would have seen only Gordon and McKay.
