Given the Championship only finished up in the last couple of days, with play-offs still to come, surely they dont have a league game for many weeks? IF that is the case, why are we playing a team who are so obviously not going to be a good test for us in our last pre-season game? JFK-1 1,671 Posted July 24, 2020 Share Posted July 24, 2020 (edited) I think Coventry will be looking for a fitness run out but wont want to be thrashed. I suspect they may set up highly defensively since firstly, they're outclassed against a potent attacking force. And secondly as the new boys in the Championship chances are that's what a large part of their season is going to be. Playing defensively and looking to snatch something on the break. And since that's exactly what we will be facing week in week out in the season ahead it might be a good choice for the final pre-season game. I feel we can be confident that despite the sheep being at home in the opening game they will be exercising a huge amount of wall building. This game can be a final exercise in breaking that down.
